Motor Show Wellington a Great Success
Gathering hundreds of car enthusiasts, the Tannery Car Show on 19 Nov 2023 was once again a roaring success. With a diverse lineup of vehicles on display and plenty of activities for all ages, it’s no surprise that over 3000 people enjoyed the day-long event. From pedal cart races to live music and craft beer, it was a memorable day filled with excitement, laughter, and good old-fashioned fun.
Main Attractions of the Day
The event’s main attraction was the cars, and there were plenty of them. Over 400 stunning vehicles were displayed, ranging from classic Ford Cortinas to modern-day Porsche and Ferraris. Several dealerships brought their impressive models to showcase as well, such as the mighty BMW M5 E60 from Sa Beemer and the famous Ferrari 458 Italia from Moto Village. Laude Cars also had a range of rare Jaguars that wowed the crowd. With so many stunning vehicles on display, it was a car lover’s dream come true.
Families with young children were not left out of the fun, as plenty of activities entertained them. The pedal cart race course was a hit, with kids of all ages racing to the finish line. The jungle gym and jumping castles were also well-used, with many happy children playing and having a good time. The vendors added their excitement, showcasing auto-related goods such as matchbox cars and various car accessories.
As the day went on and hunger and thirst started to set in, the food trucks and brewery Garagista were ready to satisfy all cravings. From gourmet burgers to chicken wings, there were plenty of delicious options. Adults looking for a cold beer or refreshing beverage could head to the brewery, where they could quench their thirst while admiring the beautiful views of the Winelands.
Music and entertainment were also present throughout the day, with Paarl FM providing the tunes to set the mood. The live performances added an extra layer of excitement, with some show-goers even sharing their favourite videos on social media for everyone to see. Watch this link :
Great Day had by all
The Tannery Car Show 2023 provided a day filled with joy, excitement, and a chance to admire some of the most beautiful and impressive cars. With plenty of activities for young and old and tasty food and drink, it’s no wonder why so many people came to spend the day with their family and friends. The event was a testament to the passion and enthusiasm of car lovers in the South African community, and we can’t wait for next year’s show to see what surprises and delights await us.
